The Royal Liver Building

The Royal Liver Building has been my favorite place since I was a child because my dream is to live in Liverpool. The most beautiful and tallest building in Liverpool is the Royal Liver building which is sited at the Pier Head.

The Royal Liver Building was designed by the architect Walter Aubrey Thomas. In 1907 the Royal Liver Group decided to begin the construction of the building in 1908. The Royal Liver was completed in 1911. In 1912 the Royal Liver Building became the biggest structure with concrete in Great Britain.

Two clock towers are crowned the building, the mariners and the people who are in the Mersey River could see the clocks at the towers. At the top of each tower are two statues of the mythical Liver Birds, the people said that this birds protect the people of Liverpool. These two statues were designed by Carl Bernard Bartels.

Inside this building are a lot of big windows with an ancient style and this building has 13 floors with six elevators per floor. Modern structures made by a lot of glass are located in the building entrance and in the middle of the lobby. The modern offices of the Royal Liver Assurance are working in this beautiful building.

For 101 years, this building has had the most beautiful view in England. The Mersey River is seen from the top of the building. All the Royal Liver Building’s front rooms have a wonderful view at night because you could go into the building and see the entire city dressed with spectacular lights; it is a beautiful show for you.

If you are a person who needs new emotions you should go to this building and pay a little quantity of money for having the most beautiful tour in your entire life.
